Tekashi 69's alleged baby mum says rapper hasn't given her money since jail release

Tekashi 6ix9ine's alleged baby mother has claimed the rapper has failed to keep an alleged promise to help her out financially following his release from jail.

The woman, known only as Layna, told US site The Shade Room that Tekashi said he would ensure she would 'be good' when they chatted on the phone during his incarceration.

But since the 24-year-old (real name Daniel Hernandez) was freed in April, Layna says she's failed to see any funds materialise for the child that she claims is his.

Layna decided to speak out following reports Tekashi had donated $200,000 to the No Kid Hungry Foundation.

"He did this to get a reaction," she told The Shade Room. "I'm heartbroken for the baby…I'm always quiet and loyal."

Layna said that she tested the DNA of a man claiming to be Tekashi's father to check if there was a biological connection to her daughter.

The mum also claimed she wrote to the judge presiding over Tekashi's case to support his early release - but has yet to hear anything from the musician since his appeal was granted.

"He lied and said he would start helping me when he's out," Layna fumed. "I did the most to be there for him…I've also been quiet because I don't want to seem bitter."

Tekashi was released from prison in April to serve the remainder of his two-year prison sentence at home after he raised concerns about getting infected with coronavirus.

He was convicted on racketeering charges but in February 2019 and faced life in prison but reached a plea agreement after testifying against members of his former gang.

His sentence was then reduced to two years, 13 months of which he'd already served.

Just a month after his release Tekashi released the video for single Gooba, which has clocked up more than 120 million YouTube views in just four days.

He has also appeared in an Instagram Live video dancing to the Bad Boys theme and waving a pair of handcuffes.
