Teens steal vehicles from West Englewood gas station: police

Police are warning residents about a series of vehicle thefts this month from a gas station in West Englewood on the South Side.

In each case, a teenage boy stole a vehicle while it was left running at the Midwest gas station at 7050 S. Damen Ave., according to Chicago police.

The thefts were reported about 9:30 p.m. June 3, 8 p.m. June 5, midnight June 5 and 7 p.m. June 8, police said. The suspects were described as males between 13 and 18 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area One detectives at 312-747-8382.
