Teenagers kicked in the head during assault in Goldsmith Street

Police have launched an investigation after two teenagers were assaulted in Goldsmith Street in Nottingham city centre.

The victims, aged 18 and 19, were kicked in the head, suffering cuts and bruises, and were taken to the Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.

The assaults happened between 1.30am and 2.15am on Wednesday, October 20.

Police have released an image of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

A spokesman for the force said: "One of the men we'd like to speak to, pictured with his T-shirt over his head, had a short ponytail and a large tattoo on his upper left arm.

"If you recognise either of the men or think you can help please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 105 of 20 October 2019, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
