Teenagers followed by man acting suspiciously near school in Bingham

Officers are working with a school after reports from students that a man was following them.

Nottinghamshire Police received a report from students of Toot Hill College of a man acting suspiciously outside the Co-op in Bingham Market Place.

The incident was reported on Friday, September 6.

The man appeared to follow the group of older male students towards Toot Hill School in The Banks, Bingham.

When challenged by the group the man continued to follow them until challenged a second time when he then turned and left the area.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, wearing glasses and a maroon coat. He also has a large mole on his cheek.

A police spokesman said the local beat team are working with Toot Hill School and other schools in the area to make members of the public aware.
