A teenager who was claimed she was spiked at a nightclub found a human bite mark on her arm when she regained consciousness.
Hattie Brown said she felt "really confused" during a night out during which she suffered memory loss.
The student at Exeter University said when she regained consciousness in the toilets of the venue, she noticed she had been bitten.
She told Devon Live : "Somehow I lost my friends, I looked around for them, but I don’t remember finding them.
"I then have a complete memory gap and I remember waking up, or regaining consciousness in the toilets, with my back up against the door.

"I was really confused. I looked down at my arm and there were teeth indentations. I saw that I had been bitten by a human and I was really confused because I’ve never really heard of that happening before.
"I’m assuming that I must have been spiked because I don’t understand how I could have gone from being pretty much sober to having complete memory loss, and how I would have been bitten that hard on the arm without feeling it."
She added: "It’s one of those things where you will just never understand what was going through the mind of that person and how it happened.
"Part of me doesn’t want to know what happened, and I’ve kind of accepted that I won’t, but it’s so bizarre."

The 18-year-old said she is still suffering with bruising, swelling and pain two days later.
However, she does not want this experience to stop her from going clubbing in the future and instead wants to warn others hoping it will help them stay safe on nights out.
She shared her story on TikTok, gaining over 120,000 views, telling people to "stay with your mates, let your mates know where you are and where you’re going".

Earlier this month, a university student said she collapsed in an A&E waiting room after being allegedly spiked by injection at a nightclub.
Amy Taylor said her legs felt "fuzzy" and her arm was bruised while she started feeling unconscious.
The alleged incident happened at Fab 'N' Halloween Guild of Students club night on October 30, Birmingham Live reports.
The third-year human biology student said she noticed a "puncture wound" on her arm after being helped into an Uber to A&E.
She claimed she was spiked at the end of the night, between 2.30am and 3am.
