Teenager rescued after being 'stuck in mud' in Scots country park

A teenager had to be pulled from mud after becoming stuck in a country park in Fife during lockdown.

Officers from Police Scotland, fire crews and the Scottish Ambulance Service were all called to Lochore Meadows at around 9.35pm on Wednesday, April 22 after reports for concerns for a person.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to yank the 14-year-old out the sticky incident.

Following the incident he was checked over my paramedics at that the scene but was uninjured.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers received a report around 9.35pm on Wednesday, 22 April of a 14-year-old boy who had become stuck in mud at Lochore Meadows in Fife.

"The boy was freed with the aid of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

"He was uninjured and checked over at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service."

The Daily Record contacted the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
