Teenager taken to hospital after attack in Salford park

An investigation has been launched after a teenager was attacked in a Salford park. 

Police were called to reports of an assault at Victoria Park in Swinton at around 9.10pm on Saturday, October 31. 

Paramedics attended the scene and a teen was taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

Enquiries are still ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police, a spokesman for the force said.

In a statement, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 9.10pm on Saturday 31 October 2020, officers were called to a report of an assault at Victoria Park in Salford.

“Emergency services attended and a teenage man received minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. 

“No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.” 

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 3362 of 31/10/20.
