A teenager has sparked a frantic police search after suddenly vanishing from West Lothian.
Sophie Kerr, also known as Haywood, was last seen in the Howden area of Livingston around 4pm yesterday.
Concerns are growing for the missing 19-year-old who is believed to have made her way to the Edinburgh area.
Sophie is described as being white, 5ft 4 tall, very slim build, with short dark hair and a fair complexion.
When last seen she was wearing a blue and white patterned hooded top, with peach and white striped leggings and white Adidas trainers with pink stripes.
Sergeant Gillian Ross said: “As time passes since Sophie was last seen, our concerns for her welfare continue to grow.
“We are asking for anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts, or who may have seen her in the Livingston or Edinburgh areas, to please come forward urgently.
"If you have any information, call police on 101, quoting incident 2618 of 23 September.”
