A teenager was shot dead by a homeowner after knocking on the door of the wrong apartment having just moved to the area.
Police say Omarian Banks, 19, was dropped off by a taxi at the wrong part of his new complex in Atlanta, Georgia at 12.30am on Friday.
Banks, who had just moved there with his girlfriend, reportedly walked to the door of what he thought was his home as he was unfamiliar with the layout and the area.
Banks is said to have knocked on the door to no answer, and eventually walked away - as 32-year-old Darryl Bynes, who lived in the 'wrong' apartment, opened his door.
Cops say Bynes grabbed a gun, went out onto his balcony to confront Banks - and after a short conversation, shot him dead on the spot.

Bynes has been arrested and charged with murder.
Banks' girlfriend Zsakeria Mathis, told local TV station WSB-TV : "I heard him say, 'Sorry, I'm at the wrong house.' Then the man said, 'No you're not. N*****, you at the right house.' And he shot two more times."
An unnamed neighbour has seemingly corroborated that story, saying: "I see him running around the corner and all you hear him saying is, 'I am sorry. It was the wrong door'.
"He said 'You ain’t come to the wrong door' and shot him a third time. I saw him drop to the ground."

Family friend Michael Wallace said: "This is a 19-year-old child that didn’t even deserve to die, that has not even lived his life."
But Bynes' family disagrees with the murder charge, with cousin Makayla Johnson saying: "He is an innocent father.
"He has five kids. He was protecting his family. His truck was stolen earlier this week, right now, he's just trying to protect his family."
Police said Bynes, who is still in custody, initially claimed he had shot Banks dead in self-defence - but detectives since believe he shot the teen from his balcony while the victim tried to get away from the apartment.
