Teenager sexually assaulted on bus from Queen Square

A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a bus.

The teen was on the Arriva service 53 from Queen Square bus station to Crosby between 3.20pm and 3.40pm on March 18. Detectives are now issuing images of a man they believe may have information that could help with their enquiries.

CCTV and witness enquiries are currently ongoing, and witnesses are asked to contact police. Detective Inspector James Halpin said: “Everyone should be able to use public transport without the fear of being subjected to an incident like this.
