Teenager 'set to sign' for Liverpool speaks out over transfer report

Young Polish star Kacper Kozlowski has addressed transfer speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool.

Reports in The Mirror over the weekend that the 17-year-old is closing in on a move to Anfield.

Kozlowski, who plays for Pogon Szczecin, impressed for Poland during the summer’s European Championships, featuring twice for his country.

The teenager, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has been compared to Manchester City star Kevin Bruyne in his native Poland.

AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked with Kozlowski, and the playmaker has addressed the speculation.

Kozlowski says that his dream is to play for a club of Liverpool’s stature, but has played down the idea that a move to Anfield is close.

"I try to cut myself off from this type of information,” Kozlowski told Polish news outlet Sport Interia . “Let my agent handle it.

“I don't know what I will do tomorrow, much less whether I will finish the season in Pogoń or leave in winter.

“I don't think about it, I do my own thing.

“And big names, they do not impress me.

“My dream is to play in this class of club in the future, but I think that the best thing to do is to apply the principle of small steps to reach the goal.”
