A teenage girl has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in south Manchester.
Emergency services were called to Sale Road, in Northern Moor, just before 1pm on Wednesday to reports of a collision.
A girl - said to be in her teens - suffered multiple injuries.
They are understood to be serious but not life-threatening.
Sale Road was closed for over an hour while emergency services attended the scene.

A spokesman for GMP said: "We were called at 12.55pm to Sale Road following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a Ford Fiesta.
"A teenage girl was treated by ambulance crews at the scene."
The North West Ambulance Service added: "We were called at 12.50pm to reports of a collision.
"An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle attended.
"A female patient was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
"The hospital was informed crews were on their way."
