A teenage student stepped in to save a stranger's life after finding him collapsed in the street.
The Hugh Bair d pupil was praised online for her quick actions on Thursday night which were shared by the college.
According to the post on Twitter and Instagram, the student, who didn't want to be named, rushed to help when she saw the man having a fit.
She put him in the recovery position, phoned an ambulance and waiting for paramedics to arrive.
According to Hugh Baird, the paramedics said they were very impressed with her response.
The girl has received high praise on social media with many saying she should be very proud.
One person said: "Brilliant. Doing the college proud."
Another added: "She should be so proud of herself."
Someone else also said: "What an amazing example to set."

"Last night, one of our 14-16 college students potentionally saved a stranger's life.
"The student, who doesn't want to be named, saw someone having a fit in the street and went to help.
"She put him in the recovery position, phoned an ambulance and waited for the paramedics to arrive.
"The paramedics said they were very impressed with her response."
