Teenager rushed to hospital with serious injuries after Balloch Park attack

Police are appealing for information after a 16-year-old was left with serious head and arm injuries following a broad daylight attack in Balloch Park yesterday (Tuesday June 29).

The assault happened at around 5.40pm next to the pier, with the victim rushed to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.

Detective Constable David Jamieson, of Dumbarton Police Office, said: “There were several groups of people around at the time of the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

“If anyone has information, including mobile footage, that might help with our enquiries then please get in touch.”
