A teenager has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked in a Tameside town centre.
Paramedics rushed out to Market Street, in Stalybridge, at around 3.30am on Sunday morning (November 28) following reports of an assault.
After checking the victim - a 19-year-old man - the crew from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) called Greater Manchester Police about the incident.
Police say the teenager was the target of a 'serious assault', having watched CCTV footage from the scene.

Officers remained at the scene on Sunday morning, with a cordon in place between Water Street and Queen Street.
Anyone with information about the assault is now being urged to come forward with information.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called by NWAS at around 3.30am on Sunday morning (November 28, 2021) to reports that a man had been assaulted.
"Officers attended and subsequent CCTV enquiries established that a serious assault had occurred on Market Street in Stalybridge, Tameside, at around 3.30am.
"The victim - a 19-year-old man - was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
"Detectives launched an investigation and a number of enquiries have already been followed up but anyone who may have any information is asked to get in touch."
