Teenager rushed to hospital after Paisley assault as cops launch probe

A teenager was rushed to hospital after an assault in Paisley.

Police have launched a probe after the incident happened on Foxbar Road at the junction with Stravaig Walk and Stravaig Path in the town.

The alarm was raised at around 3pm on Tuesday, July 26.

The 17-year-old male was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Police are appealing for information following the attack.

The suspect made off in a dark coloured Volvo estate, which was a 2003 registration plate.

Any members of public with any CCTV or dash cam footage from the area or any information are asked to contact police via 101 quoting reference 2061 of July 26.
