Teenager rushed to hospital after horror Glasgow assault as police launch probe

A teenager was rushed to hospital after a horror assault in Glasgow.

Emergency services raced to the scene after the 17-year-old was attacked on Peel Glen Road in Drumchapel.

Ambulance crews attended and the boy was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The incident happened at around 7.20pm on Saturday night.

Police Scotland say their enquiries into the assault are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Officers attended at Peel Glen Road in Glasgow at 7.20pm after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted.

"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be checked over.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
