A teenager has been taken to hospital after being assaulted and robbed in broad daylight.
The 17-year-old was on St Mungo Avenue around 12.15pm on Sunday (July 4) afternoon when he was targeted.
The teen was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers have cordoned off the area in Townhead and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a report of assault and robbery of a 17-year-old male on St Mungo Avenue in Glasgow around 12.15pm on Sunday, 4 July, 2021.
“The 17-year-old has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information about the incident should call police via 101, quoting incident 1629 of 4 July.”
