A man in his late teens was taken to St James’ Hospital, Dublin after an alleged assault that took place near St Stephen’s Green in Dublin.
The incident occurred this evening (June 19) at around 6pm.
At present, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
It's understood that the man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
In a statement that was released this evening, Gardai said: "Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault which took place near St Stephen’s Green in Dublin this evening, 19th June 2021 at around 6pm. A man in his late teens was taken to St James’ Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
