A teenager died following a devastating crash in Haydock last night.
The 19-year-old was a passenger in a black Lexus that hit parked cars before careering into front gardens.
Three other men in the vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Vista Road at around 8.40pm after reports of the crash.
The Lexus was reported to have been travelling towards the East Lancashire Road when it hit a van, a Ford Fiesta and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The vehicle continued into front gardens on the road , near its junction with Queens Road.
The 19-year-old, a rear seat passenger, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the vehicle, a 25 year-old man, and two other passengers, a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Merseyside Police is appealing for anyone who was travelling along Vista Road last night and who saw the Lexus prior to the crash to contact the force.
Officers would also ask anyone who may have captured the car on dash-cam footage to get in touch as they may have information which is vital to our investigation.
