Teenager is charged with kidnap after abduction of young girl in Hunslet

A man has now been charged with kidnap after the abduction of a 12-year-old girl in Leeds.

Michael Sehannie is 18 years-of-age and of St Luke's Road in Leeds. He is charged in relation to the incident on Old Run Road, Hunslet, on Tuesday, April 23.

Sehannie was arrested yesterday (Monday) following a public appeal.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Leeds Magistrates Court for his first hearing tomorrow (Wednesday).
