A teenager has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after she was hit by a truck at Port Stephens on Thursday afternoon.
Three NSW Ambulance paramedic crews and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were called to Kirrang Drive at Medowie just before 3.30pm after reports a cyclist had been struck by a vehicle.
The teenager, a 14-year-old female, was treated at the scene and air-lifted to John Hunter Hospital with head and hip injuries as well as multiple abrasions.
