A teenager is helping gardai with their enquiries after the tragic stabbing of 18-year-old Azzam Raguragui.
Azzam was walking home from evening prayers at a local mosque on Friday evening when he was attacked by a gang of youths at Finsbury Park, Dundrum.
He was rushed to St James's Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
A male teen has now presented himself at a station in south Dublin this afternoon, and is helping gardai with their enquiries.
Officers revealed that they are currently investigating a "definite line of enquiry", and are also not considering any racial motive behind the attack.

A garda spokesman said: "A male teenager has presented himself at a South Dublin Garda Station this afternoon, Saturday May 11th 2019, and is currently assisting investigating Gardaí with their enquiries in connection with a fatal stabbing incident which occurred last night, Friday May 10th 2019.
"Investigating Gardaí are now following a definite line of enquiry. Investigating Gardaí are currently not considering any racial motive in relation to this ongoing investigation.

"The Post Mortem examination is currently being carried out by Deputy State Pathologist Dr.Linda Mulligan. Gardaí continue to examine the scene of the incident.
