Teenager held at knifepoint in terrifying mugging ordeal in Castleknock

A teenage boy was subjected to a terrifying ordeal when he was held at knifepoint and mugged last week in Castleknock.

The frightening incident took place near Brady's pub on the Old Navan Road on Thursday, November 7 at around 8pm.

The heartless mugger took everything he could from the terrified teen, including his jacket, phone and school work.

The thief was reportedly seen making his getaway in a white van.

There have been reports of similar incidents happening in the same area with the muggers seen driving away in a white van.

A garda investigation into the latest attack is ongoing.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating a robbery from a person (aged in his late teens), which took place on November 7 at the Old Navan Road.

"The incident occurred at approximately 8pm."
