Teenager flown to John Hunter Hospital with head injuries

A teenager girl who was allegedly struck by a vehicle in Anna Bay has been flown to John Hunter Hospital.

A spokesperson for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter said it was called around 12.40pm on Saturday to respond to the scene.

The spokesperson said ambulance paramedics treated the girl, 14, at the scene for head injuries before the arrival of the helicopter critical care medical team. She was stabilised before being flown to the John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
