A teenager is fighting for his life after his electric scooter collided with a black Hackney cab.
Emergency services raced to the scene at 11pm yesterday.
It was reported the rider of a private Epicstuff sit-on e-scooter had crashed with a taxi.
The 19-year-old rider of the scooter is now in a 'critical condition' in hospital with a serious head injury.
The driver of the cab was uninjured and stopped at the scene in Knotty Ash, Liverpool to assist police.
Road closures that had been put in place have now been lifted and officers have spoken to witnesses.
