A teenage boy has been winched to safety after falling about five metres while walking at Dudley.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were alerted on the afternoon of Sunday, July 12, that a boy had been injured after tumbling down a cliff.
Crews rushed to the scene as a multi-agency operation unfolded.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was deployed and winched a medical team, including a critical care paramedic and doctor, down to the teenage boy.

The patient was treated for a lower leg injury and the medical team was taking spinal precautions with him. He was winched out in a stable condition.
NSW Ambulance confirmed in an update about 2pm that the boy was being flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for further treatment.
It's understood the boy was walking at Dudley, in Lake Macquarie, when he fell about five metres down the cliff, sparking the emergency response.
