Teenager due in court after alleged serious assault of 69-year-old man

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy will appear in court after an alleged serious assault on a 69-year-old man.

The man was allegedly attacked at around 7.20pm on December 20 in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire.

A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The teenager was released on an undertaking to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
