An 18-year-old man has died after a crash which also saw three people taken to hospital. The teenager, from the Caerphilly area, died at the scene of the incident involving a Peugeot 5008 and a Ford Focus in the Monmouthshire village of Shirenewton.
A 30-year-old man, 54-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman have been taken to hospital for treatment after the crash on Usk Road, which took place at around 1.30pm on Sunday. Gwent Police are now appealing for information, and have asked anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch.
