A teenager has been charged in connection with an attempted murder after another teenager was stabbed outside an Aldi store in Edinburgh .
A 16-year-old boy was found seriously injured following an incident on Gilmerton Road on Sunday.
Cops and emergency services were called to the scene at around 5.10pm and the teen was rushed to hospital where he remains receiving treatment.
The boy who has been charged, also 16, was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday and inquiries are ongoing.
