Teenager charged in connection with robbery at Falkirk skatepark

A teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at a Falkirk stakepark.

Officers were alerted to the alleged incident at Bellsmeadow Road Skatepark between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday September 27.

The 17-year-old male is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court at a later date.

Posting on Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "On Monday 27th September a robbery occurred at Bellsmeadow Road Skate park, Falkirk.

"Thanks to diligent work by DC’s McInally and Campbell a 17 year old male has been arrested and charged.

"He will appear at court in due course."
