Teenager arrested on suspicion of burglary in Lliswerry

A teenage boy has been arrested following a burglary of a house in Newport.

Gwent Police said they received a report of a burglary on Hillview Crescent, in the Lliswerry area of the city, on Tuesday, March 9.

A 15-year-old boy from Newport has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

A force spokesperson said the teenager is currently in police custody.

Officers are also investigating reports of another burglary in the Lliswerry area.

Gwent Police said the burglary took place on Lydney Walk on Tuesday.
