Teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of boy, 15, in Upminster

Detectives have arrested a teenager on suspicion of the attempted murder of a 15 year-old boy in east London.

Officers detained the suspect, 17, at an address in Kent as they continue to appeal for witnesses after the victim suffered multiple stab wounds.

Police were scrambled to Marlborough Gardens in Upminster to reports of a stabbing at 3.25pm on September 24.

They found the victim with multiple stab wounds and paramedics treated him at the scene.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is describes as serious but stable.

Detectives from the Met’s East Area CID are investigating the knifing and questioning the suspect at an east London police station after his arrest on Tuesday.
