A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in the connection of the death of man, 26, in Johnstone.
As reported on Glasgow Live, police received report of a disturbance in the town’s High Street on Wednesday (April 1).
Officers attended and closed off the road.
The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and Police Scotland have since named him as John Winters, from Johnstone.
The 17-year-old is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today (Friday, April 3) and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
