Teenager arrested and charged in connection with alleged stabbing in Perth

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Perth.

The incident is said to have happened at Moncrieffe Island on October 31.

Chamber calls for rates payment suspension with businesses "on their knees"

The youth has also been charged with a number of other offences.

The arrest was confirmed on Wednesday by Police Scotland.

He has been kept in custody to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on November 18.
