A TEENAGER and a second man have been arrested after emergency services were called to a series of fires in Aberdeen overnight.
The fire service said it had tackled blazes involving grass and gorse on Donmouth Road, near the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1.30am on Tuesday, with four fire appliances attending.
Police Scotland later confirmed that two males had been arrested, one aged 16 and one aged 25.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 1.35am on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, we were made aware of fires in the Ellon Road area of Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended, the fires were extinguished and there were no reports of injuries.
“Two males, aged 16 and 25, have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.24am on Tuesday, June 24, to reports of a large fire in the open in Aberdeen.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the city's Donmouth Road, where firefighters extinguished a fire involving grass and gorse.
"Crews thereafter left the scene."
