AN 18-YEAR-old man has been charged with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy.
The incident took place at Ravenscraig Park in Kirkcaldy on Friday.
The injured 16-year-old was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
A 14-year-old boy has also been charged with assault in connection with the same incident.
The 18-year-old man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Police said that the incident was first reported on Tuesday and that enquiries remain ongoing.
