A 17-year-old has been charged with 16 sexual offences after allegations of abuse at a nursery.
The suspect cannot be named due to his age.
He was arrested after officers received information relating to a nursery in Torquay.
Devon and Cornwall Police said he would appear before a youth court “in due course”.
He has been charged with one count of rape against a child, along with 13 counts of sexual touching against eight children.
The teenager has also been charged with two counts of historic rape. Those are not linked to the nursery.
