Teenage son of EuroMillions winners' fights for life after quad bike crash at mansion

The 13-year-old son of two EuroMillion winners after reportedly being involved in a "nightmare" quad bike smash.

His sister reportedly raised the alarm after he was flung from his bike and through a fence.

An air ambulance was reportedly sent to the scene of the incident at the 148-acre estate, but the boy was taken by road to hospital.

The quad bike is said to have been a gift bought for the teen by dad Adrian, 49, who won the lottery in 2012, according to The Sun.

He reportedly remained in intensive care on Sunday night, with his family, including mum Gillian, 48, at his bedside.

Adrian and Gillian won a £148million jackpot playing the EuroMillions nearly a decade ago.

The couple later split, and Adrian recently moved back into the remote Grade II-listed £12million mansion.

Gillian, who now lives in Scotland, reportedly raced down to her son's bedside.

A family friend told The Sun: “He’s in intensive care and he’s in a bad way. He’s sedated right now and everyone is just out of their minds with worry.

“His sister is really shaken up by the whole thing. It’s a nightmare.”

The crash happened at about 3pm last Monday. A police spokesman told the Mirror: “We were called with reports that a car and a quad bike had collided on private land.

"The rider of the quad, a teenage boy, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.”

The Bayfords won their vast fortune back in 2012, and at the time it was Britain's second biggest lottery win ever.

They then purchased their sprawling 19th-century country home Horseheath Lodge - a 189-acre estate which includes stables and outbuildings with a cinema, billiard room, bar, workshop and store rooms.

There is also an outdoor swimming pool, with six further cottages, equestrian facilities and a barn with office space onsite.
