Teenage Scots girl missing for two days as police launch frantic search

Police have launched a search for a teenage Scots girl who has been missing for two days.

Officers are desperately looking for Lisa Ferguson after she was reported missing on Tuesday February 16 from the Balfron area near Glasgow.

The 16-year-old has links to the central belt as she is known to travel to the city.

Concerns are now growing for the schoolgirls safety, with police appealing for information from anyone who may be able to help them track her down.

She is described as 5'5" tall, slim build, blue eyes and long brown hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing a black puffer style jacket, black leggings and white trainers.

Police Scotland said: "If you have information regarding the whereabouts of Lisa then please telephone Police Scotland on 101 quoting inc 3416 of 16th Feb."
