Teenage opera singer provides new Susan Boyle moment on Britain's Got Talent

A teenage opera singer gave viewers goosebumps as she wowed the audience on Britain's Got Talent.

Eighteen-year-old Faith Tucker stunned Simon Cowell and his fellow judges as she performed at the Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays.

Viewers marvelled that the singer is only 18 as she belted out an opera number during her confident audition.

And she delivered a Susan Boyle moment as many BGT fans exclaimed that they 'weren't expecting that.'

"Looool how am I getting goosebumps from opera please," asked one viewer.

"Well I was not expecting that!" exclaimed another on Twitter.

"She's 18 with a voice like that?!" asked a third.

Comparing her to Scottish singer Susan, who was a finalist 10 years ago after singing I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables, another viewer said: "Unexpected Opera singer. Check."

Judge Amanda Holden said: "Your voice is phenomenal."

Faith was praised by the judges (ITV)

Alesha Dixon said: "So much depth and warmth and richness. You really command attention."

David Walliams praised: "You walked on ready made superstar."

And Simon Cowell said: "That was fantastic. Wow."

Ant and Dec return without fuss and Britain's Got Talent fans have 'never been happier'

The young soprano started singing lessons at the age of 12 and started out holding small performances in her home city of Nottingham.
