Teenage Liverpool fan's Champions League final hard luck story

Teenage Reds fan James Parry missed out on last season's Champions League final when his flight to Kiev was cancelled at the last minute - despite him having a prized ticket.

This season, the 16-year-old who has watched his beloved Liverpool all over the world with dad Stephen, has a flight but no ticket!

Desperate dad Stephen said: "James has been going home and away with me since he was five years-old - in fact one of his first European aways was in Barcelona when he was four!

"This season he has been to 35 of 38 league games, all six Champions League homes and the trips to to Red star Belgrade, Bayern Munich, Porto and Barcelona.

"But his Euro away tickets were purchased on friends' cards and he can't get a ticket for the final.

"I've missed out, too, despite doing all the above games, but I’m old enough to have seen it all.

"I'm desperate for one for my son."

Stephen and James, from Maghull, intend to make the trip to Madrid regardless, but are desperate for one ticket.

If anyone can help, Stephen can be contacted on parry.stephen@icloud.com
