Teenage girls missing in Paisley are found safe and well

Two Paisley teenagers who went missing before New Year have been found safe and well.

Mia Russell, 16, and Abbie Macintosh, 15, had not been seen since around 7pm on Monday, December 30.

But Police Scotland confirmed the pair had been found safe and well earlier today.

Abbie Macintosh, was last seen at 7.10pm, on Monday, December 30 in St James Street, Paisley .

She was described as white 5ft 2, brown eyes, with long black hair, and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue skinny jeans and black converse trainers.

Mia Russell, who is believed to have been with Abbie, was last seen wearing a red and burgundy puffa style jacket, light blue jeans and black converse trainers. She is 5 foot 3 inches in height and has long brown hair.

Police thanked the public for their assistance.
