UPDATE: British Transport Police have confirmed no further action will be taken against the men in the picture and the case has been closed
A teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a group of men on board a train home from Liverpool Lime Street station.
A group of teenage girls were travelling back from a day of shopping in Liverpool on Sunday, August 8 at around 8pm when a group of men began looking in their direction and winking at them on the platform at Liverpool Lime Street.
After both groups boarded the train heading to Blackpool North railway station the men started threatening the group of young girls and sexually assaulted one of them.

British Transport Police (BTP) is investigating the sexual assault and has released images in connection with the incident.
Officers believe the men in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
Anybody who recognises the men or has any information, should contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 557 of 08/08/21.
Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
