A teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a park in Glasgow last night as police launched an investigation into the incident.
The 17-year-old was attacked between 9pm and 11pm at Tollcross Park on Saturday night.
The area has been cordoned off by officers who currently remain on the scene.
Enquires into the incident are ongoing as police establish the circumstances surrounding the assault.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police are investigating a report of a 17-year-old girl being sexually assaulted within Tollcross Park, Glasgow, between 9pm and 11pm on Saturday, 23 January, 2021.
"Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
