Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at Dalreoch railway station.
At around 9.30pm on Monday, August 23, the victim was approached by a man on platform two of the station.
He engaged in a conversation with her and sexually assaulted her.
The man is described as a white, bald, six-foot man of slim build, with a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was wearing a dark top with jeans with a white design on the rear pockets.
After the incident, the victim left the station and approached two women who helped her get home.
Officers are keen to speak to these women and are appealing for them to come forward to assist their enquiries.
