Teenage girl reported missing as police issue description

Police have issued a description of a teenage girl who has been missing since the weekend.

Emily Limbert, 16, was last seen at her home in Knotty Ash on Saturday, July 18.

Officers have issued a physical description of Emily and are keen for the public to contact them with any information which could help them to trace her.

She is understood to frequent the Kensington area and is described as being 5ft 6in tall with long, straight, mousey coloured hair and blue eyes.

Police have also released a photo of the schoolgirl as part of the appeal.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for help to locate a 16-year-old girl who has been reported missing.

"Emily Limbert, from Knotty Ash, was last seen on Saturday 18 July at home.

"She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, slim with long straight mousey-coloured hair and blue eyes.

"She is known to frequent the Kensington area.

"Anyone who has seen Emily or knows of her whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC, call 101 or contact @missingpeople on 116 000."
