Update: Avon and Somerset police confirmed at 10:40pm that Ellie had been found safe and well in Bristol.
Police thanked those who shared the appeal and called in with information.
A teenager has been missing from her Bristol home for three days.
Ellie Canning, 15, was reported missing on Thursday (November 21), but police are still trying to trace her.
She is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall and slim, with dark eyes, and shoulder-length dark hair.
Police say there was a possible sighting in the Frog Lane/Park Street area of Bristol at around 10.30pm last night (Saturday).
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: "If you know where Ellie is now or have any information which could help to trace her, call 101 quoting reference 5219269337."
They added: "Ellie, if you see this, please let us know you are safe - get in touch with your parents or ring 101."
