Teenage girl found dead at Manchester Premier Inn

A teenage girl has been found dead at a Premier Inn in Manchester after police were called to the hotel.

Police were called to the Premier Inn at Manchester Central at around 8.10am this morning.

Officers discovered the body of a young woman who is believed to be in her late teens.

A guest told the Manchester Evening News police, crime scene investigators and an ambulance were at the hotel.

Police are not treating her death as suspicious.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called to Premier Inn on Lower Mosley Street at around 8.10am on Sunday 18 August 2019 to reports that the body of a woman had been found.

"On arrival, officers found the body of what is believed to be a woman in her late teens.

"It’s not thought there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death."

Mirror Online and the MEN have contacted the Premier Inn for comment.
