Teenage girl arrested after man stabbed at property in early morning Dublin attack

A teenage girl has been arrested after a man was stabbed at a property in Dublin city yesterday morning.

Officers from Pearse Street rushed to the scene of the premises in College Street at 10am after the alarm was raised.

Two women were understood to be locked in a fight and a member of staff who tried to intervene was stabbed in the altercation.

He was taken to St. James's Hospital by ambulance where he is currently recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

An 18-year-old was arrested at the scene and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station where she has since been charged in relation to the incident.

A Garda spokeswoman told Dublin that "investigations are ongoing".
